Who’d have thought that the girl who was afraid of dogs up until the age of nine, when my parents brought home our first family dog, would now be dog obsessed and working full time with them and other small pets.

After many years of thinking about changing my career to become a pet groomer, I finally took the leap to train and complete an iPet, Level 3 city and guilds diploma at GroomArts Academy in St Albans, graduating in March 2024.

In September 2024 I trained at Tails and tweed in Abingdon, to specialise in cat grooming.

Since then, I have set up my own fully equipped home salon in a garden pod, with specialist, top end grooming equipment and offer a stress free service to your pets, in a crate free zone.

The Prim Pad is a 1:1 salon only, so your pets will not be mixed with pets from other households. If you have two pets living in the same house and wanted them groomed at the same time, I will accept them both and keep one waiting securely, while I am grooming the other.
