Hey, I’m Hayley!

It’s hard to believe I used to be terrified of dogs, right up until I was nine years old. Everything changed the day my parents brought home our first family dog. That moment sparked a lifelong love for animals, and it set me on the path I'm on today. Now, I am lucky enough to work full-time with both dogs and cats, doing what I love most: helping them feel comfortable, cared for, and looking their absolute best.

After many years of thinking about changing my career to become a pet groomer, I finally took the leap to train and complete an iPET Level 3 City and Guilds Diploma at GroomArts Academy in St Albans, graduating in March 2024.

In September 2024, I trained at Tails and Tweed in Abingdon to specialise in cat grooming.

Since then, I’ve set up my own fully equipped home garden salon, complete with heating, air conditioning, and premium grooming tools, so your pet stays comfortable all year round.

The Prim Pad is a 1:1 salon only. It’s a calm, stress-free space with no mixing of pets, just individual attention and care. That being said, if you have two pets from the same home and would like them groomed at the same time, I’m happy to accept both, and one will wait securely while I groom the other.
